The disputed oil between Malaysia and indonesia is began on 16 feb 2005.This problem have not consolved untill today.The developement till today is The relation between Malaysia and indonesia is become nervous.I will continue about this problem at bellow, and let us see the developement since 11 April:
Indonesian President Susilo BambangYudhoyono on Saturday held a meeting with several cabinet ministers and Indonesian National Defence Forces (TNI) Commander Gen Endriartono Sutarto, demanding avoidance of military collisionwith Malaysia.
After the meeting, the TNI commander confirmed that an Indonesian navy ship and a Malaysian vessel had collided in the disputed Ambalat block in the Sulawesi Sea on Friday morning, reported the official Antara news agency. (April 11,2005)
The TNI representative said that he have made a contact with Malaysian counterpart,and promised that they will make a decision soon.After the problem have attended Malaysia and Indonesia are also agree to hold peaceful dialogue to end the dispute,and set to meet in may.
on April 13 Indonesia Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda told the reporters that they have already sent the note of protest and will hold a meeting this week to reduce tension.
Next day (April 14),our Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar admited that he have received the protest note and said that Malaysia also sent a protest note to the Indonesia goverment.
The event develope untill April 17 have some change about it and the problem is focus on the media of Indonesia,it is also make a nervous relation between Malaysia and Indonesia.
April 17--Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak very angry about the Indonesia's daily Kompas because of the untrue report, and has asked to make an open apology to Malaysia.
The report wroke that Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had apologised to Jakarta incident involving two warships of both countries. Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak also said that he was dissapointed about this statement.
The Deputy Prime Minister further pointed out that both countries had agreed to resolve the dispute of overlapping claims in the oil-rich area at the discussion table. ''Following the irresponsible report Kol Hartind Hazrin, who was named as a source in the report, will be asked to give an explanation to Defence Intelligence director-general Leftenan Jen Datuk Wan Abu Bakar Omar very soon,'' Najib added.
The developement untill April19 Indonesia, Malaysia relations still testy.That some nervous between Malaysia and Indonesia.This problem was going nervous because of the local media.
local media continue to pander to nationalistic public opinions, waging a war of words that could ultimately envenom further the already testy relations.
